How do I return an item?

Before returning and item, we recommend that you read our terms and conditions.

Terms and conditions of sale

Your computer has a 12 Months return to base warranty covering parts and labour. In the case of hardware issues the user must telephone the support line or email for technical support at techsupport@happus.eu. If a hardware fault occurs within the first 28 days of delivery and cannot be resolved by technical support services, collection will be arranged to complete the repair. Only one collection will be arranged free of charge, if the collection is agreed, arranged and then missed by the customer, it is then the responsibility of the customer to arrange return. After this period if a fault cannot be resolved by technical support services, the customer is responsible for returning the product to happus Ltd at their own expense. Items must be packaged securely for transit. Any damage in transit is not the responsibility of happus Ltd. Where a repair cannot be affected then a suitable replacement will be despatched back to the customer. If the hardware fault cannot be found or replicated after testing, the customer is responsible for return carriage cost .The warranty does not cover any customer data, and it is the customer's responsibility to back up any personal information and files. In the event of a Hard Drive fault the repair process or replacement may wipe all data. Under these circumstances the unit will be returned back to its original state, as when first received.

What’s not included in the warranty:

  • Regularly replaced items/ consumable items. (Batteries are only covered for a 3 month period)
  • Faults which are not normal wear and tear e.g. accidental damage.
  • Cosmetic failures that do not affect the functionality or safety of the device.
  • A product which fails because anyone neglects, abuses or misuses the product.
  • We do not cover or offer technical support for any software that you have installed on your computer.
  • We do not cover any type of computer virus, malware or spyware installed on your computer.
  • If you have tampered with any of the components of the machine, your warranty will no longer be valid. Damage or breakdown due to flood, wind or other severe weather conditions.
You can return any faulty item that is still covered by your warranty period. You are required to contact us to report a fault. As a condition of purchase, any faults will be assessed over the telephone with a technical advisor, and if the problem cannot be fixed with the assistance of technical support, a return will be approved. Any items that are outside of the warranty period, or non-faulty items will need to be returned and redelivered at the customers cost. You must still contact us to arrange such a return. Any items being returned for a refund within the first 28 day period, whether being collected or sent back will need to be received by our returns department before a refund is processed.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have 14 days, from the date of receipt, to cancel your order. If your item is not faulty, but you wish to return the item for a refund, you are required to contact us within 14 working days of receiving the goods, either by phone, email or in writing. The customer is responsible for any return carriage costs. We will process a refund for a returned item after we have received the item and inspected it to confirm that it is in the same condition as it was despatched in. Any items returned after 14 days from receipt will not be eligible for a refund.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations the customer is required to take reasonable care of goods. Therefore, the customer must take reasonable care to ensure that we receive the goods and that they are not damaged in transit. We reserve the right to recover costs incurred by non-returned items or items that are damaged in transit.
If your warranty has expired, you will be responsible for the cost of any repairs or replacements.
During the Set-Up procedure, you will be asked if you want to create a password. It is your responsibility to remember your password. We cannot be held responsible, nor provide technical support for forgotten passwords. The password is optional, you do not need to enter one if you wish not to. We have no way of retrieving your password. The way to repair a machine with a forgotten password is to re-install the operating system. This would mean a complete erasure of all customer data and software. This is not covered under your warranty, and would be performed at an additional cost to the customer.
In the event that a Happus product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Happus reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Happus reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Happus shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Happus Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order at any point at our own discretion. Verbal or written abuse to Happus staff members will not be tolerated and any individual carrying out abusive behaviour towards staff members will have their order(s) cancelled, and any required technical support will be refused

  • We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature.

It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies.
